About the event
Join us for this day in the central belt where we will learn the true meaning of navigation, the ability of accurately determining current position before planning the next move then travelling to point B. Our aim is by the end of this day you will be starting to really dial in to your surroundings, translating the 2D map in to the 3D environment, understanding you movement/timing across different terrains, relocation strategies, navigational techniques etc.
Given this event is very local to me, and I have previously offered this to others on an individual basis, it is being 'adopted' by The Saltire Mountaineering Company. It will remain as free of charge however with places already booked, very few remain and offered on a first come first served basis........gotta be quick!!
